Nenagh Dromineer Literary Festival

This is an extract from the interviewer Nathan O Donnell on my visit to the Nenagh Dromineer Literary Festival to talk about my new book Living Lives: A Biographer's Journey

LIVING LIVES: A BIOGRAPHER'S JOURNEY
The annual cruise aboard the Cruise on the Ku-ee-tu with Dromineer Nenagh Literary Festival friends Teddy and Edel Knight in the company of Anne Chambers and Nathan O'Donnell took place on Sunday morning last. The stillness of the lake, the calm and quiet created the perfect backdrop for this absolutely extraordinary and wonderful recall of the history of Grace O’Malley, Ireland’s Pirate Queen. Anne has also written about the lives of T.K Whittaker and Eleanor, Countess of Desmond.

No stranger to DNLF, Nathan O’Donnell conducted a brilliant interview with Anne who reminded us that history can only truly come to life when we study the actual ground roots of the people who made a difference in their time and to ours no matter how. Anne has a rare quality of bringing her characters to life!
